Product Description
1. Designed for High-Load Applications
This is our heavy hex coupling nut, designed for high-load environments such as mining machinery and construction equipment. Under extreme working conditions, standard hex nuts may fail due to insufficient strength or slippage.
The heavy hex design provides a larger wrenching surface, ensuring a tighter grip during installation. The increased contact area helps prevent slipping and improves fastening stability, making it suitable for heavy-duty applications.
2. Multiple Strength Grades for Different Load Requirements
The width across flats ranges from 14 mm to 55 mm, and thread sizes range from M6 to M36. You can select the appropriate size based on your bolt specifications.
We offer three strength grades:
- Grade 8 – suitable for general load conditions
- Grade 10 – higher strength for medium-heavy applications
- Grade 12 – maximum strength for extreme load environments
Higher grades provide significantly greater tensile strength compared to Grade 8, making them suitable for demanding structural and mechanical applications.
3. Hardness Matching and Surface Protection Options
The hardness is controlled between HRC 25–38, and is adjusted according to the selected strength grade to ensure optimal performance balance between toughness and durability.
We offer two surface treatment options:
- Electrophoresis coating – provides a thick, uniform black protective layer with strong corrosion resistance
- Phosphating – offers a thinner coating that improves oil retention and is suitable for lubrication-based applications
Both treatments enhance corrosion resistance and service life in different working environments.
