Product Description
1. Connect Two Rods with a Hex Connector Nut
This is our hex connector nut, designed for joining two threaded rods or tie rods. Both ends are internally threaded, allowing flexible assembly and adjustment.
The central body features a hexagonal profile, providing a secure wrenching surface for easy installation and removal.
By rotating the nut, the distance between the two connected rods can be adjusted precisely, making it suitable for alignment and tensioning applications.
2. High Alignment Accuracy for Straight Connection
The width across flats ranges from 10 mm to 50 mm. Internal thread specifications can be identical on both ends or configured as reducing threads (e.g., M12 on one end and M16 on the other), according to your requirements.
We manufacture strictly according to your drawings.
Concentricity is controlled within ≤0.08 mm, ensuring precise alignment during assembly. Poor concentricity may cause misalignment or stress concentration; our product ensures a stable and straight connection.
3. Controlled Hardness and Material Options
The hardness is controlled at HRC 22–32, providing sufficient strength while maintaining toughness for tension-based applications.
The hex connector nut is primarily subjected to tensile forces rather than impact loads. Excessively high hardness may increase the risk of thread cracking; therefore, this controlled range ensures safe and reliable performance.
We use high-quality alloy steels such as 40Cr and 35CrMo:
- 40Cr – suitable for general mechanical applications
- 35CrMo – offers improved low-temperature toughness and higher strength performance
