Product Description
1. Wear-Resistant Component for Heavy-Duty Suspension Systems
This is our leaf spring pin socket, used in heavy-duty truck suspension systems.
In leaf spring assemblies, the spring pin undergoes continuous oscillating movement under load conditions. This repeated motion generates significant surface contact and wear over time.
Our leaf spring pin socket is engineered to provide stable support and wear resistance under long-term cyclic loading conditions, ensuring reliable suspension performance.
2. High Hardness with Controlled Impact Resistance
The inner diameter ranges from 6 mm to 40 mm, with wall thickness between 3 mm and 8 mm.
Hardness is controlled at HRC 38–52 to provide enhanced wear resistance for high-friction operating conditions. For heavy-duty or high-wear applications, higher hardness grades are available.
To maintain structural reliability under shock loading, impact toughness is controlled at ≥40 J, ensuring resistance to sudden impact forces without cracking or premature failure.
3. Precision Inner Surface and Optimized Lubrication Design
Inner surface roughness is controlled at Ra ≤1.6 μm, reducing friction between the pin and socket interface and improving wear life.
Lubrication options include:
- Internal oil groove design – provides continuous lubricant retention for extended service life
- Non-grooved design – for applications with external or periodic lubrication systems
Material options include 45#, 40Cr, and 42CrMo steel. Among them, 42CrMo offers the best combination of strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance for heavy-duty suspension applications.
