Product Description
1. Standard Hex Form with Functional Enhancements
These specialty hex nuts are based on standard hex geometry but incorporate additional functional features for improved performance in assembly systems.
Compared with standard hex nuts that primarily provide fastening function, our specialty designs are engineered to enhance anti-loosening performance, positioning accuracy, and installation adaptability in confined or demanding environments.
2. Multiple Functional Designs for Different Engineering Requirements
The width across flats ranges from 10 mm to 55 mm, with thread sizes from M6 to M36. Chamfer options range from C0.5 to C3 depending on installation requirements.
Strength grades are available from Grade 6 to Grade 12, with higher grades providing increased load-bearing capacity for heavy-duty applications.
Special design options include:
- Flanged serrated nuts for improved anti-loosening performance under vibration
- Slotted nuts for use with cotter pins in safety-critical assemblies
- Extra-high nuts for increased load distribution and engagement depth
- Thin nuts for space-constrained installations
- Nuts with nylon inserts for additional friction locking and sealing performance
3. Material Options and International Standard Compliance
Hardness ranges from HRC 22–42 depending on material and heat treatment process.
Material options include carbon steel grades (45#, 40Cr, 35CrMo) as well as stainless steel grades (304, 316), selected according to strength, corrosion resistance, and application requirements.
Surface treatments include hot-dip galvanizing, electrophoresis, phosphating, and Geomet coating to improve corrosion resistance and service life.
Products can be manufactured in accordance with ISO, DIN, GB, or ANSI standards based on customer requirements.
